50 complex topics spanning 6 disciplines, each needing consistent yet unique page layouts. No template would work.
Solution
Built a modular LaTeX system: each chapter has 8+ source files (title, summary, historical, technical, sidenote). Custom macros handle recto/verso flow automatically.
Each 10-page chapter includes: visual sidenote, historical context, main exposition, technical deep-dive, and scientist biographies.

Oriented Kitchen
A heritage cookbook preserving traditional Tunisian Jewish recipes passed down through generations. The challenge: 4 languages on every page—two left-to-right, two right-to-left.
Challenge
80+ recipes in Hebrew (RTL), Arabic (RTL), English (LTR), and French (LTR)—mixed on every single page. Traditional publishing tools can't handle bidirectional text.
Solution
JSON-driven multilingual data structure with React renderer that handles bidirectional text correctly. Each recipe stored as structured data with 4 parallel translations.
Toggle any recipe between English, Hebrew, Arabic, and French—with proper RTL/LTR rendering and cultural adaptations.

Extreme Dichotomies
A philosophical exploration of binary thinking. Each spread presents opposing viewpoints in perfect geometric balance—dark page vs. light page, claim vs. counterclaim.
Challenge
Present philosophical dichotomies with geometric precision. Bilingual (English + Hebrew) with proper RTL typesetting and mirror layouts.
Solution
JSON-driven LaTeX with TikZ graphics. Chapter numbers rendered as match/ring/box symbols in base 20—with randomized rotations for organic feel within geometric precision.
Each dichotomy: dark page (left claim) faces light page (right claim). Chapter markers use a match=1, ring=5, box=20 counting system—randomly scattered yet perfectly balanced.
